Porter is owned and loved by our entire family of soon to be four. Unfortunately, due to Porter's field trial schedule, he trains and competes away from our home in Omaha, NE, nine months out of the year. But when he comes home, Porter is a part of our family and loves time with our young one. Porter was bought to be my hunting dog. When his potential was realized early in his training, we turned our sights on hunt testing, and eventually field trialing. We breed Porter to cover his training and competition costs, as well as to pass on his great genetics.
As previously mentioned, my wife and I live in Omaha. I have two jobs, one as a full-time pilot for FedEx Express, and a second as a part-time pilot in the Air national Guard. My wife is a full-time psychologist and full-time mom. We have one son, who is a wonderful handful that just adores Porter, and one baby on the way.
I hunt Porter for waterfowl and upland game. Although specifically trained for retrieving, Porter excels on pheasants and quail.
